I finished my copy of Botticelli’s painting. It was hard work, but I’m really happy with how it turned out, and I’m super grateful.
ボッティチェリの模写が完成しました。苦労した部分も多かったですが、最後は自分の納得する出来で終えられて、感謝の思いがつのります。

I went to my favorite art supply store. It’s a well-known place, and it’s always packed with customers. The staff are really nice, and they always give me a discount because I’m a student at the Accademia.
行きつけの画材屋さんへ。有名なお店で、いつもお客さんで賑わっています。店員さん達もとても優しく、アカデミアリアチの学生だといつも割引してくれます。

I also started working on a pastel piece. Since I am in Florence, I will use the sculptures at the Uffizi Gallery as models for my drawings.
パステルの作品にも取り掛かりました。せっかくフィレンツェに来ているので、ウフィッチィ美術館にあった彫刻をモデルに描いていきます。

After school, I went to an exhibition. It was a rare exhibition of contemporary art in Florence, and it was very interesting. 放課後に展覧会へ。フィレンツェでは珍しい、現代アートの作品でとても面白かったです。
シエナ観光。大聖堂内の天井の装飾。フィレンツェとはまた少し違う雰囲気の色彩、柄に感動しました。

On the weekend, I went sightseeing in Milan. Milan’s famous cathedral
週末はミラノ観光へ。ミラノの有名な大聖堂

There was an exhibition of stained glass at the Milan Cathedral Museum, and I was able to see it up close.
ミラノ大聖堂の博物館にステンドグラスの展示があり、間近でみることができました。

We visited La Scala. The building, steeped in history, had a very solemn atmosphere.
ミラノスカラ座へ。歴史が積み重なった建物は、とても重厚感がありました。

Da Vinci’s Last Supper. It was a very valuable work of art, painted with innovative techniques and ideas, and I was deeply moved to see the original.
ダヴィンチの最後の晩餐。革新的な技術、アイデアで描かれたとても貴重な作品でもあり、本物を見ることができて感激でした。

The Milan subway. Italy has a variety of cities, each with its own unique character, and I was able to enjoy sightseeing in an atmosphere different from that of Florence.
ミラノの地下鉄。イタリアは都市によって個性が様々で、フィレンツェとは違う雰囲気を楽しんで観光する事ができました。
