We started working on the fresco painting in class. It looks like it will take a long time because of the detailed and complicated patterns, but I am looking forward to its completion.

A famous panini store. There was a huge line of people waiting to get in. I was hungry after class, so I finished the panini with a big portion.

My first oil painting in my life. All the tools were provided, and if I needed more, I would buy them. I chose the Arno River as my subject matter.

Pizza dough was on sale at the supermarket, so I bought it without a second thought. I put some ingredients on it, baked it in the oven, and ate it. It was very delicious.
スーパーでピザ生地が売っていたので、思わず購入。ありあわせの具材をのせて、オーブンで焼いて食べました。とても美味しかったです。
When I stopped by a bookstore near the school, I found a lot of Japanese manga in the manga corner. I was happy to see that they seem to be popular in Italy as well.
学校の近くの本屋に立ち寄ったら漫画コーナーに日本のマンガがずらり。イタリアでも人気のようで、嬉しく思いました。
ArtVisit took us to a Renaissance aristocrat’s mansion. The rooms were beautifully decorated and furnished as they were in those days.
ArtVisitでルネサンス期の貴族の邸宅へ。当時のものがそのまま残っており、部屋の装飾や家具など美しいものばかりでした。
ArtVisit #2. There were many handmade laces on display, all beautifully done, and I was left impressed.

Fiesole, recommended by our interpreter, is the end of the bus route and has many old ruins.
通訳さんのオススメで訪れたFiesole。バスの終点にあるところで、古い遺跡が沢山残っています。
