(February 24) Rain, Italian class starts at 9:00. What did you do over the weekend to review last week? What did you eat this morning? We started with a conversation. Slide shows showed cooking utensils and terms necessary for cooking with pictures. It was easy to learn Italian words that can be used immediately. The teacher asked us questions in turn and we answered them. Even in group lessons, it is satisfying when everyone has an equal opportunity to speak. After school, I have to decide on a restaurant for my internship, but I am still in doubt. Today, I am going on another gelato quest. （2月24日） 雨、9時からイタリア語授業開始。先週の復習兼ねて、週末何をしていた？、今朝何を食べました？・・・等、会話から始まります。スライドで、調理器具や、料理する際に必要な用語を絵付きで学びました。直ぐ使えるイタリア語は、頭にも入りやすいです。順番に先生から聞かれ回答する授業。グループレッスンでも全員が平等に話す機会があると満足度も高いです。放課後、インターンの店を決めなくてはならないのですが、未だ迷い中。今日もジェラート探求に向かいます。 (February 25) […]

（2月17日） 今日も9時からイタリア語授業。朝の通学路、同じ道を同じ時間に通っていたら、声をかけられるようになったので、学校までの経路を変えるようにしました。物を売りたい方や色々・・・。防犯対策しっかりして通っています。とにかく早歩きと携帯電話は見えないように。シークレットポーチ2つ、スキミング防止カードケース、鍵、コンパクト小銭入れ。これは日本から持ってきてよかったです。小銭入れに最低限のお金を入れ持ち歩くよう工夫し。クラスメイトと放課後、混雑している場所へ行く際は、日本人チームはリュックを前掛けし、最初のオリエンテーションで案内があった内容を頭にしっかり入れ一つひとつの対策が留学生活を守ることに繋がるので気を抜かないように生活することを心がけています。 （2月18日） 今朝、ご飯を炊きました。どうしてもお米が食べたくなり、アジアンマーケットで前回お米を購入しましたが値段が高く、イタリア米で日本のお米に近い商品をお店の方に聞いて購入しました。（1k 1.6€）授業で習ったイタリア語で、まだ文章を作ることは難しいですが、生活に使える活きたイタリア語を学び、先ずは日常生活で困らないよう店員さんとコミュニケーションが取れると嬉しいです。 （2月19日） 今日のイタリア語はマルコ先生。先生に話しかける際、日本風？に「マルコ先生」と声をかけると「マルコ」と、呼んでと言われます。何となく距離が近い感じがして、わからないを伝える時は、聞きやすいと感じる部分です。小休憩に、カフェラテが好きと言う話をしたら、イタリアでは牛乳が入っているカプチーノやカフェラテは朝飲むものと教えていただきました。ちょっとした習慣ですが、BARで夕方カフェラテを注文した時のエピソードや、小休憩は些細な生活情報が知れて私の貴重な時間です。マルコはいつも快く応えてくれます。放課後は、日本人チームでメルカートへお昼ご飯を食べに行きました。初日のオリエンテーションで教えてくれた、生パスタのお店！ （2月20日） 今日のイタリア語授業は10時半スタート。ちょっと早めに家を出て、ゆっくり散策しました。朝は比較的混雑していないので、静かな街並みをゆっくり歩くのがお気に入りです。両替所は必ずチェック！「1€172円？」私は、カードを使うお店は比較的大きな店と決めているので、出国前の羽田空港で多めに両替してきました。ジェラート巡りになるべく使いたいので、使い方を考え、計画的に使うようにしています。

(February 9) Holiday In the morning, I went for a walk for about an hour. Since I cook my own breakfast every morning, I decided to have an Italian-style breakfast at a bar today. I was planning to stroll around looking for a good bar, but I found the word “GIAPPONESE” on the signboard and entered the restaurant! The menu I ordered was “Caffe con latte” and, what was it? (February 3) Today we had an Italian lesson with images. After the lesson, I went to Mercato with my classmates for a walk. We immediately practiced buying gelato using the words we had learned! It was rich but not too sweet, and I wanted to eat it even when it was cold. The crispy waffle with the store’s logo was also delicious. （2月3日） 今日は画像を使ってイタリア語レッスン。レッスンの後は、クラスメイトと散策兼ねてメルカートへ行きました。早速、習った言葉で、ジェラート購入を実践練習！Firenze発のボンタレンティ味と、苺。濃厚だけど甘すぎず、寒くても食べたくなる味でした。お店のロゴ入りサクサクのワッフルも美味しかったです。 (February 4) Italian class learned today with the help of classmates. (Day 1) Finally, the start of your life as a foreign student in Japan. Due to the time difference, I woke up at 4:30 a.m. Italian time. At 9:00 a.m., we were divided into Japanese and English teams for the orientation, where the local staff explained our schedule and told us what we needed to be careful about in our life in Italy.
